Average Feeding Amounts:

(one pound equals approximately two cups)


100 lb dog = 2 lb to 3 lb daily, or two meals of 1 to 1-1/2 lbs each
75 lb dog = 1-1/2 lb to 2=3/4 lb daily or two meals of 12 oz to 18 oz each
50 lb dog = 1 lb to 1-1/2 lb daily, or two meals of 8 oz to 12 oz each
25 lb dog = 8 oz to 12 oz daily, or two meals of 4 oz to 6 oz each

 

Southern Vittles

1lb Bacon cooked ( retain grease)

2 lbs Chicken Livers & Gizzards

Simmered in bacon grease

2 – 1lb cans of mixed greens

8 cups of Rolled Oats

Bring 1 gallon (16 cups) water to boil add oats and turn off heat.

Once Oats are ready, add in other ingredients

Allow cooling

Freeze in serving size containers.

 

 

Chuck Wagon

4 cups (2 lbs) Ground Beef

4 cups Brown Rice

2 cups Kidney Beans

2 cups Mixed Vegetables

4 Tablespoons Olive Oil

4 Cloves of Garlic (Minced)

Lightly brown Ground beef

Bring 8 cups of water to boil, add in rice, cover and simmer approx. 30 min.

Mix in other ingredients

Allow to cool

Freeze in serving size containers

 

 

 

Fresh Catch

2 lbs Fresh Catch Fish

Baked in Oven until flaked

(Be sure to remove all bones)

2 lbs cooked sweet potatoes

1 cup of peas - mashed

8 cups of Rolled Oats

Bring 1 gallon (16 cups) water to boil add oats and turn off heat.

Once Oats are ready, add in other ingredients

Allow to cool

Freeze in serving size containers.

 

 

 

Cluck-Cluck Stew


2lbs Chicken – boil - strain (reserve broth) de-bone and chop meat

4 cups Brown Rice

2 cups mixed vegetables

1 cup black beans

2 tablespoons sesame seed oil

Mix ingredients together and add enough reserved broth to make thick stew

Freeze in serving size containers.

 

 

 

Fruit and veggie delight

Chop all ingredients:

1/2 apple

1/2 pear

1/2 orange

1/2 banana

¼ cup Carrot

¼ cup zucchini

¼ cup yellow squash

2 tablespoon flax seed

Mix with 2 ½ cups plain yogurt

Serve with chopped boiled egg

Will stay good refrigerated for 3 days
